The Dominican student brothers have been given the great gift of an intellectually serious formation in Thomistic philosophy and theology. In their contributions to Dominicana, they rationally and faithfully address the problems of the present day. The result is a journal that offers its readers a uniquely contemplative and Dominican perspective on an expansive array of topics. From fiction to theology, interviews to book reviews, debates to poetry, each issue of Dominicana is a testament to the creativity and learning of the brothers preparing for the priesthood at our House of Studies in Washington, DC.

The work of Dominicana Journal is a sign of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the life of the American Church today. These young Dominicans are contributing mightily to the work of evangelizing the academy.

– Bishop Robert Barron
